Algebras and Emergence of Time: global physics from a local state
Nima Lashkari, Purdue University,

We review recent developments in understanding the emergence of time in holography at the G_N=0 limit from the emergence of type III_1 operator algebras in time. I will discuss an operator algebraic avatar of AdS_2 geometry, and a reconstruction of global time evolution in terms of a local reduced state in the vacuum of conformal field theory.

The talk is in 469 Lauritsen.
