Dark Photons with Multiple Leptons
Matheus Hostert, Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics,

In this talk, I will discuss lamppost models of MeV to a few GeV dark photons. I start with 17 MeV vector bosons, where I show that multi-lepton decays of charged pions completely rule out vector-boson explanations of the ATOMKI results, including protophobic ones. I will then move on to dark photons with large kinetic mixing, where we study and generalize inelastic dark matter models. These "semi-visible" dark photons decay to multiple charged leptons + missing energy and require a careful re-evaluation of experimental limits from e+e- colliders and fixed-target experiments. I will show how these models still allow for kinetic mixing of O(0.01), and present new limits we derive in collaboration with the NA64 experiment. The talk is in 469 Lauritsen.
