Two short tales of axions
JiJi Fan, Brown University,

In this talk, I am going to tell you two short tales of axions. The first one is to use cosmic distance measurements, from both supernovae and galaxy clusters, to constrain axion couplings to photons. The second one is a new source of axion potential. I will show that axions interacting with Abelian gauge fields obtain a potential from loops of magnetic monopoles and dyons.
