ACCOMMODATIONS

We recommend that you plan to arrive on January 11 and depart on January 16.

Participants are required to make their own hotel reservation. Mention that you are coming to the String Theory at the Millennium Conference at Caltech, so that you will get the special rate. However, you will realize that hotels around Pasadena are expensive. We recommend that young people try to share a room as in some hotels the price for a single or double occupancy is the same. Reserve your room as soon as possible.

SAGA MOTOR HOTEL (less than one mile from Caltech (walking distance)):

- Comments: The hotel has 70 rooms. There is no possibility to block rooms. So make your reservation as early as possible. Mention that you are visiting Caltech. Request the group rate for String Theory at the Millennium. Guests use the Super Shuttle to get to LAX or Burbank (they have to call (626) 443-6600).

HOLIDAY INN (approx. 1 mile from Caltech):

- Comments: Will block 100 rooms. 3 days prior cancellation notice. Parking is $5 per night. Mention that you are visiting Caltech. Request the group rate for String Theory at the Millennium. To LAX there is an Airport Bus (714) 938-8900; To Burbank - Super Shuttle, mentioned above.

- Comments: will block 100 rooms. A nonrefundable one-night deposit is required. Mention that you are visiting Caltech. Request the group rate for String Theory at the Millennium. Every hour there is Airport Bus, mentioned above, to LAX - $20 roundtrip fare.
